Following their transformation, Talon, Vega, and Eko begin to discover the true extent of their newfound abilities with the help of Dr. Voss. The episode reveals the truth about their origins: during an invasion of his laboratory by Arkon Industries, Dr. Voss injected the three lab rats with his experimental Blue Serum to protect his life's work from falling into the wrong hands.

Now, Arkon Industries has gotten wind of the Blue Serum's extraordinary capabilities and the existence of the Metro Mutants. As the corporation launches a citywide hunt for them, Vega's electrokinetic powers surge to new heights during an ambush in the abandoned subway tunnels. Forced to protect her friends, she channels electricity in ways she never thought possible, creating shields and weapons of pure energy.

Working together with Dr. Voss in his secret underground facility, the team begins to understand the full potential of their abilities.
